Women of Color Against Violence, is a collection of essays by more than 25 activists and scholars who are rethinking what the "non-profit industrial complex" will mean for long-term progress and change. According to the Colorado Women's Agenda, the essayists describe "a system of relationships between the state, the owning classes, foundations, and social service and social justice organizations that results in the surveillance, control, derailment and everyday management of political movements."
